Hand Hearth started because my mum couldn't walk her dog without her hands going numb.

It was my mission to keep her hands pain-free in winter.

We tested countless heated gloves, and I was shocked at the quality of most branded options. Batteries that died in twenty minutes. Heat that reached the palms but never the fingertips. Bulky designs she couldn't grip a lead in.

Eventually I found a heated glove that actually kept her hands warm. But the price I paid for that pair was silly.

And I realised that women like my mum deserve good quality at a reasonable price — not a luxury markup on something they need every day.

That's why I founded Hand Hearth.
